What can I build for you?
At TeakThings, we celebrate the timeless beauty and durability of teak—without the hefty price tag. By using repurposed teak whenever possible, we craft high-quality products that are more affordable for you. Quality is never compromised: we use only premium stainless steel screws, galvanized brad nails, Titebond III glue, pure tung oil, and top-tier waterproofing coatings with mold and mildew inhibitors. Each piece is meticulously finished on all surfaces with the finishing product(s) best suited for the environment of your purchase. Hand rubbed coats of tung oil, brushed polyurethane, or brushed marine spar varnish may be used. Our products are built to last a lifetime—and beyond.
With your order, you will receive detailed long-term care instructions, and you may receive a complimentary container of the coating(s) I used for touch-ups, along with. To maintain its stunning beauty, teak does require occasional upkeep. Recently, I crafted leaves for a teak table exposed to the elements for over 25 years. Though its surface had faded to a silvery gray, the wood remained remarkably solid. Teak's unmatched durability makes it the top choice for marine applications, standing the test of time. At TeakThings, we exclusively source our teak from Advantage Lumber, a trusted leader in responsibly harvested lumber from sustainable forests.
